Summary

As a Technical Account Manager, be a part of a strategically important group that helps our customers create and maintain great technical solutions. As a member of this fast-growing team, you will be assigned a few large customers who are in various stages of cloud adoption. Your role will be to help them solve difficult technical problems, provide technical guidance, perform technical reviews, and serve as their advocate within the company. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships while becoming familiar with their architecture and technical operations. 

 

Duties

  • Provide technical guidance to your customers using industry and company best practices
  • Help to solve challenging technical issues and drive customer communication during critical events
  • Perform periodic technical reviews for customers
  • Serve as your customers’ point of contact during technical emergencies
  • Champion product improvements for your customers

 

Experience

  • Successful candidates typically have strong technical background in several internet technologies such as networking, databases, application servers, operating systems, or programming.
  • Positive attitude with customer-obsessed service skills
  • Understanding of n-tier (multi-tier) web architectures and how to trouble shoot them.
  • Understanding of standard internet protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP and HTTP
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • A computer science or engineering background
  • Experience working with external customers.
  • Prior consulting experience preferred.
  • Previous cloud experience is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in professional Japanese and English, both written and spoken
