Radio Access Network Technology Strategy Sales Manager

We are now looking for Technology Strategy Sales Manager to support the Sales organization to set technology strategy on RAN domain and engage in different phases of pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects. Main mission is to position the company as a thought and technology leader and to win trust from the customer so that they want to hear more from us about how they should evolve their network. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set and own technology leader and own technology strategy for the account
  • Position the company as a technology leader
  • Maximize customer relationships and loyalty for short and long term
  • Communicate and discuss technology strategy and share vision with customer CTO/CIO and direct reports
  • Involve people inside and outside of the organization and create stories that will impress the customer and guide them to their business success
  • Work closely with the customer an Key Account Managers in order to propose improvements & identify new business opportunities
  • Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer
  • Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customer
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on technology and solutions is communicated to the ones in need at Business Units, Group Function and R&D

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions in mobile telecommunications technology
  • Experience in business with telecommunications operators
  • Domain experience:  RAN (3G, 4G, and 5G) is mandatory, Core Network is plus
  • Wide knowledge on mobile industry
  • Experience from working in the field with customers
  • Business Understanding with financial acumen
  • Native Japanese and Business-level English is a must to communicate well with customer and internal stakeholders

  • Education: Bachelor degree or above or relevant working experience

  • This position's responsibility does not include people management

 

Expected Competency:

  ・Solutions or Consulting experience

  ・Solutions Sales experience is plus

  ・Think out of Box and be open minded for new ideas

  ・Able to make effective proposal and presentation
