Requirements:
・3+ years experience developing with Java and SQL
・C#, VBA, Perl, shell scripting experience a plus
・Business level Japanese and conversational English
・Financial industry experience a plus
Responsibilities will be mainly maintaining and developing new features for some current systems including risk monitoring, trade data, and market data related.
Will also work with Global IT to leverage global best practices and upgrade our infrastructure and platforms, including using new technologies like container deployment to cloud, Python, NLU, and AI.
Needs to be able to develop in an Agile environment, and take responsibility for personally developing, testing, and deploying software, as well as working with the team in Japanese and overseas counterparts / internal clients in Japanese and English.
The seat is on the Equities trading floor; it is a fast-paced high-pressure environment that requires a quick mind and thick skin.
