Role: Project Manager
Reporting into the Head of operations, APAC, the Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of solutions to meet company revenue goals while driving customer satisfaction. This role will be based in Tokyo.
Reporting to Head of operations, APAC Responsibilities and Duties
1.1.1 Area of responsibilities:
Translate customer contract into a comprehensive project plan and manage the delivery end to end
Execute and follow Company project management methodology for all assigned projects
Create and maintain required project artifacts including project schedule, status, training materials,
project requirements documents and presentations for various discussions
Proficient in effectively communicating between multiple internal interfaces/stakeholders in a global
matrix environment to achieve project objectives
Manage customer communication and act as customer SPOC through all phases of the project
Manage client stakeholder expectations and derive customer satisfaction
Conduct quality checks for the solutions delivered to the client
Train clients in using Company tools as a part of client onboarding and adoption. Prepare and execute
product presentations including live demonstrations
Drive and be accountable for Project-to-BAU transitions
Provide local 2nd level support to customers in local languages where relevant
Work with third-party Audit partners where relevant
1.1.2 Skills
Ability to motivate & influence the project team and service providers to achieve successful delivery
Proactively manages and hold oneself accountable for the success of projects assigned
Highly organized, efficient
Have a good judgment on prioritization and have business acumen to be able to effectively
identify and address customer pain points
Possess the ability to be a quick self-learner. Attend the organized training and further the
knowledge by self-reading the Company knowledge repository
Be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Ability to build trusting relationships with customers, team members, and service providers
1.1.3 Requirement’s
8-10 years of experience as customer facing PM in software delivery projects; SaaS is an advantage
Experienced client facing Project Manager delivering enterprise grade product-based solutions from Vendor side
Computer Science Degree or Engineering background or equivalent
Required languages: Possess proficient verbal and written and presentation skills for
English (must)
Additional language like Chinese or Japanese will be an advantage
Experience in Retail/CPG/FMCG market – advantage
PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent – Advantage
Strong leadership skills, readiness to walk an extra mile to reach the goals
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
